Sidr honey, also known as “Asal Al-Athel,” is a rare honey extracted from the Sidr tree. It is considered one of the best and finest types of honey, distinguished by its relatively thick texture and dark color, resembling Sidr honey.

Among the prominent benefits of this honey:

1. **Reducing the Risk of Infections:** Honey helps strengthen the immune system and reduce the occurrence of infections in the body due to its content of a compound acting as an antiseptic called hydrogen peroxide.

2. **Treating Eczema and Skin Inflammation:** The honey is known for its potential in treating conditions like eczema and skin inflammation.

It is not recommended for use in infants, especially those under 6 years old. Additionally, individuals with honey or bee product allergies, in general, are advised against using it.
